Counseling_HealthAt KPC, we offer a variety of counseling services and host a student health clinic at the Kenai River Campus that all KPC students are welcome to use. With the help of our highly-trained counseling and health services staff, we are fully equipped to address student needs and concerns.

Our qualified counselors are available to assist students of all ages and backgrounds. Individual and group sessions are available to help students be successful in the college environment, determine their self-direction and in overcoming obstacles that may prevent their academic success. Counselors or advisors aid students with program planning, transfer coordination, student success strategies and logistics of the college experience. Counselors, can, in addition, help with personal crisis intervention, stress reduction and other concerns related to their college experience. Referral to other community services is also available for students needing assistance beyond the scope provided at KPC. All services are free to enrolled and prospective students on a drop-in or appointment basis.   

Our Student Health Clinic provides educational, preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services for health problems.The clinic is staffed by a highly qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She offers routine office care and/or outpatient services to KPC students (including those taking UA distance courses - six or more credits) who have paid the Student Health Fee. Laboratory services are available to participating students at a reduced cost from Central Peninsula Hospital. Appointments are available by phone.
