CLEP - College Level Exam Program

The College-Level Examination Program or CLEP provides students of any age with the opportunity to demonstrate college-level achievement through a program of exams in undergraduate college courses.  There are 2,900 accredited colleges that grant credit and/or advanced standing for CLEP exams.

The CLEP Testing Process:

1.  Register online with College Board and pay their $80 fee.

2.  Schedule an appointment with the Kachmeak Bay Campus Testing Center at (907) 235-7743.

3.  Pay the proctoring fee in person at Student Services in Pioneer Hall.  The proctoring fee is $30 for Kenai Peninsula College/UAA students, and $50 for all others.  If you have any questions about which fee applies to you, please contact KBC's testing center at (907) 235-7743.

4.  Bring a copy of your registration receipt, your proctoring fee receipt, and two forms of identification to your scheduled test day appointment.
