Assessment (ACCUPLACER) testing focuses on the basic skill areas of reading, writing, and math. These tests are not graded; the score is used solely to assist the student in selecting appropriate courses. Admission to a degree or certificate program requires completion of the ACCUPLACER test. Students must have the ACCUPLACER placement results prior to registering for mathematics, reading, speech, and/or written composition courses.
