Graduation
Applying for KPC Graduation
Students are responsible for meeting all KPC requirements for graduating. Students should meet periodically with an advisor to be sure all degree requirements are being met. In order to graduate, an Application for Graduation must be filed with the Admission office by the published deadline listed in the Academic Calendar. In order to be certain that their degree program requirements can be completed, students should apply for graduation the semester prior to the expected date of graduation.
Applying for UAA Graduation
Many students attend KPC and complete UAA degree programs. Students who plan to graduate with a UAA degree must contact the KPC admission office if they wish to participate in KPC commencements. There is no automatic notification and it is the student's responsibility to make the notification so their name will appear in the program.
UAA issues diplomas three times a year:
- January, following fall semester; Must apply by May 1
- May, following spring semester; Must apply by September 15
- September, following summer semester; Must apply by March 1
Students are held responsible for meeting all academic requirements. Students should meet with their advisor to ensure they are on track to meet all requirements. Students must apply for UAA graduation online and pay a $50 application fee to UAA.
Applying for other UA Campus' Graduation
Each campus in the UA system has different deadlines and requirements for applying for graduation. Students are directed to the catalog or Web site of the campus where their degree program originates.
