KPC Distance Classes for Spring 2008
Elluminate Live (E-Live) Support
Blackboard Support
Various distance delivery courses, satellite, online, audio conference, and live interactive video are supported at KRC, KBC and RBES. Using distance delivery instruction, a student can take courses that are not taught at the local campus. Most distance delivery courses are applicable to a degree program if they are provided through an accredited institution. An academic advisor should be consulted.
The University of Alaska Distance Education Gateway, online at: www.alaska.edu/distance, provides access to current course information for distance delivered classes available all over the University of Alaska system. Details for courses returned from a search can be accessed by clicking a course title. Contact information is also available for each of the University of Alaska campuses around the state to assist in registering for courses.
The University of Alaska is committed to making education available to the distributed population of the state by extending its reach to students through its diverse offering of distance delivered courses supported by the various UA campuses around the state.
Distance education information can be found in the UA Distance Education Handbook online.
Students interested in distance education can consult with KPC advisor Scott Kraxberger: 262-0354 or Diane Taylor in the Learning Center at 262-0328.
