Learn how to translate digital photography into art and a career!

Looking for skills that allow you to be creative in your work every day? Have you been told you have an eye for photography? Do you enjoy manipulating digital photographs using specialized software? KPC offers the only digital art AAS in the UA system.

Professional photographers can take their skills in many different directions from working in a fine arts gallery to shooting for commercial news. Other options include portrait photography, school and wedding photography. Some photographers specialize in commercial, industrial or scientific work. Other photographers create fine art and commercialize their artwork.

Graduates of this two-year program will be knowledgeable in digital camera operation and imaging software, quality printing techniques, and available industry services. Students develop skills that are applicable to either the digital arts industry or the creation of fine art.

This degree, if planned properly, can be earned entirely online. Students should work closely with an advisor to ensure proper course selection and sequencing.
