Festival of Readings
The Festival of Literary Readings in conjunction with the 17th annual Kachemak Bay Writers' Conference will be held the evenings of June 9-11 in Homer. Sixteen nationally-recognized visiting and Alaskan novelists, essayists and poets will read from their work each evening.
- 8 p.m., June 9, at Homer High School, Anthony Doerr Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist
- 7:30 p.m., June 10 at Alice's Champagne Palace, Rick Barot, Jean Hegland, Erin Coughlin Hollowell, Barbara Hurd, Nancy Lord, Floyd Skloot, Joe Wilkins
- 7:30 p.m., June 11 at Land's End Resort, Jean Anderson, Rich Chiappone, Bryan Allen Fierro, Ernestine Hayes, Diane Glancy, and Peggy Shumaker
