The couple, both Hoosiers, he was educated at the University of Indiana, was introduced to Alaska as an army dentist in Whitter. He homesteaded overlooking the Kenai River at the end of Forest Lane. He practiced many years in Soldotna, served three generations who clamored for his gentle ways.
