Jake, Maude, Corinne, & Carol Dubendorf in front of their home. Jake, an Alaska Road Commission mechanic arrived with his family (including son Richard) from eastern Washington. They purchased a highway lot from Howard Binkley and built this small doll house (still occupied, commercially in same location). The bed rooms were on the upper floor. Maude, their son & daughters still live in the area. For many years Jake was seen daily on the Kenai River taking water temperatures.
