Ways to Give to Kenai Peninsula College

Your Legacy. Alaska’s Future!

There are many ways you can contribute to the future of higher education on the Peninsula. We connect your generosity with the needs of the college in order to benefit KPC students now and in the future. Through the generous support of individuals and businesses, we can develop the facilities, programs and graduates to build a vibrant and thriving state. KPC is key to the Peninsula’s economic development. Your gift is an investment in the future of Alaska!

As a public institution, KPC relies primarily on funding from the state, tuition, grants, contracts and other local revenue sources. In 2007-2008, the state of Alaska provided only 54.3% of KPC’s operating budget. The college depends on the generosity of alumni, friends, parents, students, and businesses to help provide the additional funding needed to offer continued access to higher education and high-quality educational programs.

2010 MOMENTUM CAMPAIGN:
It’s starts with us!

2010 Momentum Pledge Form

KPC’s annual, internal fundraiser is fully underway! The KPC Resource Development team decided to make the campaign available throughout the year! There will be periodic reminders sent to staff and faculty reminding them that supporting student scholarships and campus funds help ensure that KPC remains a college of first choice. Donations, no matter how small, are excepted as one time contributions (cash, check-payable to UA Foundation, money order or credit card) or via payroll deductions. Every gift matters!

The goal of the 2010 Momentum campaign will be to increase participation across the KPC system AND raise more money than last campaign! The 2009 Momentum campaign raised $13,320 from 48 donors. With the generous match by UAA Chancellor Fran Ulmer of all new donations and any donation increase over a previous donation, the grand total raised in the 2009 campaign was $19,724! THANK YOU to everyone who made a contribution to the 2009 Momentum campaign!

Giving to KPC made easy with Alaska PFD “Pick, Click, Give” option!

Kenai Peninsula College is part of the new PFD Charitable Contributions Program for 2009. This is a new way for Alaskans filing for their dividend online to make a donation to non-profit organizations, such as KPC. By giving to the college through this program, Alaskans can become an important part of supporting the success of KPC students. Follow these instructions when signing up for the PFD online: choose “The Gift of Giving” option; search for the University of Alaska Anchorage – Kenai Peninsula College by name and click on it; follow the rest of the instructions.
