  1. Support KPC Students with Scholarships

    Contribute to an Existing Scholarship

Contributions can be made to existing endowed or restricted funds at any time. This is a significant way of honoring a person, or showing support for the values they express, through the scholarship's award criteria. The KPC Advancement office can help by providing a review of existing scholarship funds. Gifts of all sizes are always welcome.

    Establishing a New Endowed Scholarship

“Endow” means that KPC/UAA, working with the UA Foundation, will invest the gift so that investment earnings generate funding for the scholarship's awards. By endowing the scholarship, gifts are invested and scholarships are awarded from the interest earned and the principal of the account is preserved in perpetuity. This is the most long-term, monumental form of scholarship support. ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS are established with a minimum of $25,000 and depending on the value of resulting investments, it may take several years for the fund earning to accumulate enough to disperse awards. The KPC Advancement office coordinates with the donor to determine purpose, preferences, qualifications and the name of the fund. The information allows the formal drafting of the UA Foundation Gift Agreement.

    Named, Restricted Scholarships

These scholarships are established with a minimum of $5,000. Restricted scholarships are smaller funds which are NOT invested, but donated directly into scholarships; if a fund is not replenished by additional gifts, the fund will be closed. In general, Foundation funds are designed for long term, repeated donations. The KPC Advancement department coordinates with the donor to determine selection criteria and the name of the fund via the UA Foundation Gift Agreement Form.
