KPC E-Learning courses
KPC is University of Alaska's leader in e-learning!
KPC is committed to making education available to the Kenai Peninsula population by extending its reach to students throughout the service area through distance-delivered courses. The spring 2011 semester KPC delivered 5,871 student credit hours to students throughout the Peninsula, Alaska, the lower 48 and even to soldiers serving overseas. Distance courses offer students additional options in obtaining their college education. About 50% of all KPC students take at least one distance-delivered class each semester.
During spring 2007 KPC offered nine sections of distance-delivered courses. By spring 2011, more than 120 sections of distance-delivered courses were offered and many of the sections were filled almost as fast as they were added. The trend will continue to climb in order to meet the growing demand for excellent distance courses.
