KPC's Kenai River Campus High School New Student Orientation

Q: Why should you take this orientation?
A: This orientation is required for all new High School students attending KRC.

High school students wishing to take college courses must apply for a university waiver. Part of KPC’s design to help high school students create a successful early college experience is the requirement that high school students complete an orientation prior to applying to register into college courses.

Click the Next button to proceed through the orientation. You will complete a brief quiz at the end.

When you complete the quiz successfully, you’ll need to:

1. Immediately print out your Certificate of Completion
2. Keep it with the print copy of your Placement testing results, and
3. With your completed Summer 2014 High School Waiver Application form or Fall 2014/Spring 2015 High School Waiver Application form

Jumpstart (Senior) students need to submit 3 completed forms at registration

  • New Student Orientation Certificate
  • Registration form
  • High School Student Waiver form

Homeschooled students need to submit 4 completed forms at registration and come to the business office to arrange payment.

  • New Student Orientation Certificate
  • Registration Form
  • High School Student Waiver form
  • Homeschool Program Authorization form (provided and signed by their particular home school program)

Note that neither the Jumpstart program nor the Home school programs will pay for Student Activity or Health Center fees.  Deferred Payment plans (EZ Payment Plan) can be set up on or before the first day of classes at the business office. Plans for students under the age of 18  require both the signatures of the student and a parent or guardian.
