KPC provides free wireless high-speed Internet access to its students. KPC not only has an IT staff on site fully prepared to fix any technology problem that may arise, there is also an IT HelpDesk hotline specifically designed for student, staff and faculty questions.
KPC has several computer labs on its campuses, stocked with the most popular software programs. There are online tutoring resources for math and English, and detailed online information on eLive, Blackboard, Webmail, and UAOnline.
Students are provided e-mail accounts and are expected to check them on a regular basis. There is online support for managing student e-mail accounts.
At no charge, KPC will identify spyware, provide current virus definitions, and provide the status of Windows updates. Computers that are identified as corrupt or compromised will be banned from KPC networks. Illegal downloading of copyrighted content is not allowed; KPC has a very stringent Three Strikes Policy.
