Giving to KBC
Help us grow the Kachemak Bay Campus through philanthropy. Support KBC!
Individuals and businesses have a unique and critical role in promoting higher education, vocational training and continuing educational opportunities in Homer. You make a difference when you give to KBC - for students, Homer, the Kenai Peninsula and Alaska.
Whether you support Kachemak Bay Campus with a gift of $100, an endowment of $10,000 or a contribution to an existing fund, there are a variety of ways you can help offer programs of excellence to area students. Gifts to KBC are made to the University of Alaska Foundation, a private nonprofit corporation, operated as a public foundation, which was established in 1974 to solicit, manage and invest donations for the exclusive benefit of the University of Alaska.
The Foundation is a tax-exempt organization as described in subsection 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and donations made to the Foundation are deductible according to schedules established under income and estate tax regulations. The Foundation qualifies as a public charitable organization under Subsection 170 (b) (1) (A) (vi) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is separate and distinct from the University of Alaska and is governed by its own Board of Trustees.
