Applying for Admission: Step by Step

  1. Complete an application for admission form at UAOnline. Paper application forms are also available from the SES office. Make sure you are aware of the application deadlines for the degree you are seeking!
  2. First-time degree-seeking applicants with fewer than 30 college-level semester credits must submit official high school transcripts, GED scores, or complete an Ability to Benefit form.
  3. Students who have earned credits at other regionally accredited colleges or universities must submit official transcripts, from all institutions previously attended. Students with more than 30 college-level semester credits do not need to submit high school transcripts.
  4. Take the ACCUPLACER placement test or submit SAT/ACT scores taken within the last 2 years.
  5. Meet with an advisor.

To be official, transcripts must be in a SEALED envelope.  If you have opened your transcripts they are no longer official.
