KBC provides service to assist students throughout their academic career in a confidential and supportive environment.
Academic Advising can help you:
- Determine your academic and career goals
- Select courses with an eye to course sequencing
- Monitor progress toward graduation
- Understand financial aid
- Identify resources and supports when needed
Meet with your advisor at least once a semester prior to registering, to prevent problems and graduation delays.
Initially, all students wishing to pursue a degree or vocational certificate meet with an SES advisor. You may drop in or call for an appointment at 235-1651. Once you commit to a program you may be assigned to a faculty advisor who can help clarify career options and choose a degree that meets your job and personal goals.
Knowing and meeting your degree requirements is your responsibility. We strongly recommend ongoing academic advising to help you in this process.
