AES Student Internships

Internships for OSH degree-seeking students are generally 3-credit hour commitments that require at least 150 hours of work experience. On a 15 week schedule this means about 10 hours a week, but during the summer many students work full time. Student interns must complete additional work documenting their internship and achievements of learning objectives. Paid internships are run cooperatively through the UAA Career Services Center and are offered under the course title TECH A295-Technical Internship. Instructor permission is required prior to registration; contact the AES administration desk at 786-6421 for more information.
